Business Network Systems

Communication infrastructure has long been foundation of every business. Increasing demands of voice and other real-time communications require that your network offer quality support to such services. Communication infrastructure with new functionality, enabling wired and/or wireless connectivity with the user’s security identification is the answer to increasing user’s mobility.

  • Local Area Network (LAN)
  • Wi-Fi Network
  • IP Telephony

Local Area Network (LAN)

Advanced Local Area Network (LAN) includes services and equipment allowing business systems to plan and implement their communication infrastructure. Smart Com has designed solutions for different market segments, with specific technical requirements and solutions for each of them design to specific needs.

Basic components of LAN networks are multilayer Ethernet switches that enable rapid packet communication and simple transition to more powerful server systems and connecting demanding users.

When choosing Ethernet switches we give special attention to:

  • High Throughput network,
  • hardware level redundancy, as well as usage of redundant high-speed protocols,
  • equipment scalability and upgradability,
  • protocols implementation that provide for restriction and prevention of unwanted traffic
  • user access control to the local network,
  • implementation of advanced functionalities (networks automation, virtual server system support, rapid convergence protocols) and
  • management and configuration.

Wi-Fi Network

Mobility of users within enterprises has become a common requirement when designing the communications infrastructure. Modern wireless infrastructure must provide connectivity for users as well as satisfy other requirements. e.g security, availability and possibility of uploading/downloading different services.

Wi-Fi technology opens up more and more opportunities for new services implementation increase the interactivity among employees. More and more users-employees use so called smart devices so the way they communicate is rapidly changing. New devices play an important role in the field of business systems, at the same time new challenges raise questions about safety, which has to be supported by modern WLAN infrastructure.

At Smart Com we are very well aware of the future challenges, which are part of business networks and are taken into account when designing modern WLAN infrastructure.

IP Telephony

IP telephony is not only the voice-over-IP, but complete voice communications solution. IP telephony deployment improves employee mobility, as they can access all communication channels (voice, email, fax), and through a variety of terminal devices (computer, phone, mobile phone, PDA). Users have full features, no matter where they are (working from home or while travelling outside the office).

Before implementing IP telephony Smart Com experts do network analysis and review suitability of existing infrastructure for voice. This is the only way to ensure the communication quality over an IP network.
